2025 Official CAA Regattas

  • 14 Mar 2025
  • 17 Oct 2025
  • Inner or Outer Harbour

What Is a Regatta? A regatta is a full day (or sometimes weekend) of  multiple races, often hosted by different clubs across Toronto and beyond. These events bring together Albacore sailors from various clubs for friendly competition and community fun.

2025 Regatta Schedule (Toronto-Area Events)

June 21 – TISC Regatta (Hosted by us!)
July 19 – Westwood Regatta
August 9 – Mooredale Regatta
August 23 – St. Jamestown Regatta
September 6 – Westwood Regatta
Regatta Entry Fees: Unlike our Friday Night Races and Harbour Master Series, which are included in community club memberships, regattas require a separate entry fee (typically $35–$100 per boat). This helps cover costs such as:
  • Race management
  • Lunches & dinners
  • Trophies & prizes
  • Social events and parties

Interested in Racing? Here's How to Get Involved!

Reach Out to the Racing Director – For general questions or guidance, email racing@torontosailing.com

Talk to a Racing Skipper – Connect with experienced racers at the club to learn how you can join a crew. (Note, you will need to achieve Helm status to race as crew with the TISC fleet).

Check the Notice of Race & Standings – Stay up to date with official documents and results online at www.albacore.ca.
