All new members and any returning members who have not previously done so must pass the TISC Water Safety Evaluation. If you don’t complete the evaluation within 10 months of joining the Club, you may not participate further in sailing activities.

Note that it is not necessary to pass the Water Safety Evaluation or to be a strong swimmer, but you must attend one in your first 10 months.  If you cannot make this second Water Safety Night please contact the Vice Commodore immediately. You need only attend one night. Please arrive early to give yourself time to change and be in the pool by 7:00 pm.

Please note: Water Safety Night #2 will be schedule in early June.               Stay tuned for more details.

Dress: what you would wear when sailing – t-shirt, shorts and (clean) shoes. A bathing suit can be worn under your sailing clothes. Do not wear jeans – jeans will become heavy and cumbersome when wet.

Apres: Afterwards, we'll head out to a local pub. Stayed tuned for more details. (The pool is located just south of the AGO).

Volunteers: please register as well so we may get an idea how many people will arrive each night to help out at the pool.  For those members enjoying their 2nd year with us, this is an excellent opportunity for you to step up and help out!
