TISC is a member-run, not-for-profit sailing club on Toronto Island. We're located just minutes from the downtown core and easily accessible by TTC. With stunning views of Toronto’s skyline, a quiet woodland setting and the most idyllic location of any sailing club, TISC has flourished for more than 50 years as a one-of-a-kind community club.

TISC members have access to:

  • As a TISC sailing member, you'll have access to our fleet of Albacore dinghies, as well as Lasers, and Hobie Catamarans -- and our spectacularly located clubhouse
  • Between our unique midweek sailing, CANSail courses (education) and racing programs, as well as our social events, TISC has something for sailors at any skill level.
  • If you're not sailing this season, you can still join in the fun any day or night by becoming a social member.

Never set foot in a boat? No problem! Our certified CANSail courses prepare you to be out on the water quickly and safely.

Our midweek Social Sailing program — unique to our club — pairs new members with experienced sailors to learn the art of sailing at the right pace.

Off to the Races! TISC participates in the CAA Friday Night Race (FNR) series, Harbour Master series and local regattas throughout the summer.  Social members can play vital roles as volunteers in race committee positions such as driving the power boats and monitoring the races.  And everyone can party hearty at the celebrations afterward.
